  • Konjac Rice Benefits:
Konjac is a root vegetable that grows in parts of Asia and Japan (80% of Japanese Konjac
produced in Gunma province). It’s known for its starchy corm, a tuber-like part of the stem
that grows underground. The corm is used to make a rich source of soluble dietary fiber
known as glucomannan which forms a gel-like substance when it dissolves in liquid like
water or stomach fluids. This slow digestive process may help prevent or improve certain
Konjac is the only plant which can produce massive amounts of glucomannan fibre which
    has many health benefits.
It contains beneficial minerals such as calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin C and B6 which
are essential for various bodily functions and well-being.
  • Konjac and weight loss:
Like other soluble fibers, glucomannan absorbs water in your stomach and contributes to
feelings of fullness. In addition, it may promote reduced calorie intake and weight loss in
    other ways.
Glucomannan made from Konjac may help a person feel full for longer by slowing the rate
at which the digestive system empties.
  • Konjac and cholesterol:
A later study found that konjac lowered LDL cholesterol and recommended its use to
reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
The cholesterol-lowering effects of konjac are also thanks to its high soluble fiber content.
Soluble fiber can reduce the absorption of cholesterol into the bloodstream. It can bind to
bile acids, which are made from cholesterol, in the intestines and then excrete them.
  • Konjac and skin health:
Konjac can reduce acne and improve the health of your skin. It reduces allergic response
    and improve wound healing.
Konjac sponges are incredibly gentle exfoliators that buff away dead skin and even (wait
for it) remove stubborn makeup. They not only give you a radiant glow, but they deep
cleanse with less effort. In fact, konjac sponges are so mild that they were first used by
Japanese farmers to cleanse babies’ skin, which also makes them great all-over body
